We are very happy to be joined by Thomas Lindquist, an experienced tutor, OT, Hand Therapist, product manager and head of R&D Mediroyal Nordic AB.
Thomas will be teaching 2 one-day courses on practical applications of NRX straps.
These full day hands-on workshops will focus on basic upper limb applications of NRX straps in the morning sessions and advanced techniques in the afternoon sessions. If there is interest in the lower limb applications, the group will split in 2 and the sHOPtherapy team Jana and Sona will lead the lower limb practical session.
See below for full program. As usual with our workshops, the program content is flexible and adjustable depending on your caseload.
Cost: €180, this includes all materials used in the workshop.

Once a month on a Saturday throughout the year - the available dates are advertised on this page and through social media

- Max 4 participants per workshop to allow for individual approach and attention

Each workshop lasts between 6 to 7 hours, typically from 10 AM to 4 PM or 5 PM

45-minutes introduction to the materials, their properties and reasoning for their applications, followed by the practical hands-on workshop

Program includes applications for upper limb and lower limb, a tailored made program can be made to suit clinical caseload of participants

NEW WORKSHOPS DATES
Don't miss the opportunity to learn all about NRX straps and how to apply them to create variety of functional soft splints.
- One day workshop running from 10am to 5pm
- Small numbers of participants so everyone gets our full attention
- Program can be adjusted - we have a syllabus for upper limb and lower limb and we can combine the applications to suit your clinical caseload
- Workshops will take place in our own Perfect Therapy clinic in Killarney - make a weekend in Kerry out of it!

The price includes:
- NRX® materials for making between 12-15 orthoses for upper and lower limb - for keeping! (worth €150*)
- Manual with detailed instructions for making 10+ soft splints
- Practical pouch for washing the soft splints
- Measuring tape

THERMOPLASTIC SPLINTING COURSE
We are delighted to announce the launch of our latest addition to our workshop and courses section, offering something new and exciting for you to explore.
We will be hosting a Thermoplastic Splinting Course suitable for beginners with no experience in Thermoplastic splinting as well as more experienced hand therapists looking to explore new materials and techniques.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A place on the course or workshop will be secured only upon receipt of the full course/workshop fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- If you are unable to attend, your fee will be reimbursed in full if you notify us at least two (2) weeks prior to the course start date.
- Cancellations made between two (2) weeks and 24 hours before the course start date will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the course start date, or non-attendance without notification, will not be eligible for a refund.
COURSE CHANGES & CANCELLATION BY US
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, insufficient participant numbers).
- In the event of cancellation by us, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to a future course/workshop.
- We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants.
